Features of WiFi Camera

IP cameras come with a full scope of features and technologies, enabling recording of video in high definition, adjust to changing light levels throughout the day, and focus the camera remotely. These features make a camera more powerful and useful because it can be tuned as required to fit any surveillance demands.

Physical characteristics of the camera give an impact how the video is recorded. A camera iris and image sensor work together to tune to changing light levels to give a clear video. Other features are;

Corridor Format
Vertical format or Corridor Format is a method of rotating the camera to record with a vertical orientation. This feature allows you to record more detailed images since the entire camera view is focused on the room or space before it. It is mainly used in hallways and staircase

Remote monitoring
The remote focus is an app in camera software that enables you to concentrate the camera lens without manually tuning the camera in person. Some software will also zoom in the camera when you hold down the software’s focus button. This ability to remotely concentrates the camera without manually being present makes it easier and quicker to focus the camera for clear, detailed video.

Weather resistance
Some cameras are superior to taking care of the rain or dust storm. If you are looking for an internet protocol camera for outdoor purpose, then search for these type of camera. These cameras take video in any weather condition making them more reliable.

Tamper detection
Tamper detection is a program within the camera that will send an alert when the camera is tampered with.
This allows the camera to alert you when its ability to record has tampered. Helpful for places where the camera is physically attacked, or the camera can be blocked, the alerts will keep you connected to the system even when you’re  not physically present to monitor the feed in person.

Frame rate per second
A frame rate, expressed as fps, is the number of images a camera can take per second. The quality of video you’re to capture and your network’s bandwidth mainly influence what frame rate will work best for you. 30 fps is the standard rate for the television since it results in smooth movement of people and objects between frames.

 This is an easy way of measuring how many video frames the monitoring camera captures per second of video. 30 fps means the camera captured 30 images in a single second of video; the higher the number of pictures, the smoother the video.

Pan, Tilt, Zoom camera
This is a camera with pan, tilt, and zoom features. These movements can be physically controlled by using monitoring software or automatically set up by use of camera management software. Being able to move the camera by a security guard enables the security staff to respond fast to acts they spot with the monitoring system.

Wifi camera is the best camera you can get. The key feature is that it's completely wireless. Video quality is good and perfect for home  and business security.
